Descrizione del dritto	The obverse displays the coat of arms of Zambia centrally, featuring two human supporters — a man to the left and a woman to the right — flanking a shield charged with wavy lines symbolizing the Victoria Falls. An African fish eagle with spread wings surmounts the shield above crossed tools. The date 2014 is divided across the lower field on either side of the arms. The legend ZAMBIA arcs along the upper periphery, while 1000 KWACHA is inscribed along the lower periphery, with the motto ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION appearing on a scroll at the base of the arms. The coin is bordered by a fine beaded rim.
