| Aanvullende informatie |
Issued to mark the Queen Mother's 100th birthday in 2000, this is one of dozens of commemorative pieces struck for her centenary by commonwealth-adjacent and non-commonwealth nations alike — a cottage industry of portrait coins that flooded the market that year. Zambia had no particular constitutional tie to the British crown by this point, making the issue purely commercial rather than ceremonial.
