Struck to mark Prince William's 21st birthday in June 2003, this is squarely within the genre of Commonwealth-adjacent commemorative issues that Zambia produced through the late 1990s and early 2000s — pieces with no domestic circulation purpose, manufactured primarily for the collector export market.
