Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse features the coat of arms of Zambia centrally placed in the field, depicting two human figures supporting a shield adorned with wavy lines symbolizing the Victoria Falls, surmounted by a fish eagle with outstretched wings atop crossed pickaxe and hoe. A scroll at the base bears the national motto rendered in the legend. The country name ZAMBIA arcs across the upper field, the denomination 1000 KWACHA appears along the lower arc, and the date 2014 is divided to either side of the shield. The design is framed by a fine beaded border.
