| Obverse description | The Zambian Coat of Arms is depicted in the central field, featuring a shield supported by a man in traditional dress on the left and a woman in traditional dress on the right, with an African fish eagle displayed above the shield. The design is rendered in high relief against a polished field. The legend REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 2015 appears in the lower exergue, both separated by decorative dot borders. |

| Additional information |
Zambia's wildlife coin program of the 2010s was largely driven by export demand — these pieces were struck for the European collector market, not for any domestic monetary purpose, and were never intended to circulate. The African oryx is not native to Zambia, which makes its appearance on a Zambian-issued coin a function of commercial appeal rather than zoological accuracy.
