Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse features the coat of arms of Zambia prominently centered in the field, depicting a shield supported by two human figures — a man to the left in traditional dress holding a hoe and a woman to the right in traditional attire — with a fish eagle displayed above the shield and a scroll below bearing the national motto 'ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION'. The legend 'BANK OF ZAMBIA' arcs along the upper periphery, while the date '1999' is divided across the lower field on either side of the supporters, with '19' to the left and '99' to the right. The denomination '1000 KWACHA' is inscribed along the lower rim. The piece is struck in proof quality with a deeply mirrored field contrasting the frosted relief of the arms.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse displays a full-color inlay reproduction of the first-series 10 Euro banknote, centrally placed within a rectangular insert set against a polished dark field. The banknote facsimile faithfully renders the Romanesque architectural motif, the European Union flag, and the denomination '10 EURO' in the design typical of the inaugural euro note series. The legend 'EUROPEAN UNITY' arcs along the upper periphery and 'ONE CURRENCY' along the lower, each flanked by a raised dot serving as a decorative separator. The contrast between the vivid polychrome banknote inlay and the mirror-like surrounding field gives the reverse a distinctive commemorative character.
