| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a stylized honeycomb motif composed of twenty-eight hexagonal cells arranged in a compact structure, each of the original twenty-seven cells containing a star representing a member state of the European Union. A newly added twenty-eighth cell, positioned to symbolize Croatia's accession, contains a square surmounted by a star, denoting the final act of Croatia's entry into the EU as its newest member. The circular legend 'REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA ČLANICA EUROPSKE UNIJE' runs along the inner border, and the accession date '1.VII.2013.' appears at the lower center of the legend ring. |
