| Reverse description | The central device depicts the Vasa family coat of arms on a crowned heraldic shield. To the sinister side, the crowned royal cypher 'GAR' (Gustavus Adolphus Rex), serving as the monogram of King Gustav II Adolf, is accompanied by the date 1628, commemorating the year of the warship's launch. To the dexter side, the Swedish national arms featuring the Three Crowns are displayed. The denomination and the commemorative inscription appear in the lower field, with the date of the ship's recovery, 15 June 1990, also inscribed on the reverse. |
