| Obverse description | Black intaglio print on an orange and blue-orange underprint, with a central vignette of King Oscar II in full admiral's uniform at upper centre, flanked by the heraldic arms of six Norwegian diocese cities arranged in two vertical columns — Christiania, Bergen, and Hamar on the left; Trondheim, Kristiansand, and Tromsø on the right. The crowned national coat of arms appears at lower centre, with the entire composition framed by elaborate guilloche scrollwork and classical ornamental borders. Denomination and issuer legends are rendered in letterpress throughout. |
