| 表面の説明 | The obverse carries an intaglio portrait of Czech composer Bedřich Smetana (1824–1884) at right, with the large denomination numeral '1000' and the text 'TISÍC KORUN ČESKOSLOVENSKÝCH' in bold intaglio lettering across the centre. A Slovak adhesive validation stamp overprint is applied at upper centre, bearing the Slovak coat of arms and the text '1000 SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA', provisionally converting this 1985 Czechoslovak issue for use in Slovakia. Guilloche underprint elements and decorative floral vignettes fill the left field. |

The denomination '1000' appears in large numerals at lower centre and at upper left, with 'VYŠEHRAD' inscribed beneath the landscape vignette. At right, an elaborate guilloche rosette incorporating layered denomination numerals provides an ornamental counterfoil to the scenic composition. |
