| 背面描述 | A full-colour reproduction of the Baroque vanitas still life painting by the German-Polish artist Philipp Sauerland (1744) occupies the entire reverse field. The composition features a human skull as the central memento mori symbol, accompanied by an astrological globe, an extinguished candle with dissipating smoke, wilting and fading flowers, ripe and decaying fruit, scholarly books, and an open letter — all canonical vanitas iconography conveying the transience of earthly life and knowledge. The richly coloured artwork is rendered using advanced colour printing technology on the proof silver surface, faithfully reproducing the chiaroscuro palette of the original Baroque painting. The textured, bark-like milled border frames the reverse in a manner evocative of an aged picture frame, reinforcing the painterly aesthetic of the issue. |
