| Beschrijving voorzijde | The note is executed in a classical engraved style with elaborate decorative borders on all four sides, incorporating foliate scrollwork, allegorical vignettes, and medallion portraits at the corners and along the top register. The central field carries the denomination "mille francs" in large letterpress script, with the issuing comptoir designation and place of payment inscribed above. Four manuscript signatures of Banque de France officials appear in the lower portion, alongside an oval black cancellation stamp, with the serial number and letter prefix printed at lower left and right. |
