| Obverse description | The obverse presents the national arms of the Republic of Djibouti rendered in high relief at center, depicting a vertical spear flanked by a traditional dagger and a Somali shield, surrounded by two laurel branches. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DE DJIBOUTI arcs along the upper periphery in Latin script.
