Beschrijving voorzijde	The national coat of arms of Niger occupies the central field, depicting a shield charged with a sun, a crossed sword and spear, and a bull's head, flanked by two crossed spears and supported by millet stalks tied with a ribbon bearing the legend REPUBLIQUE DU NIGER. The country name REPUBLIQUE DU NIGER arcs along the upper periphery in bold Latin lettering, while the denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed in two lines across the lower field.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse features a functional Qibla compass design with a rotating magnetic arrow at centre, surrounded by an inner circular band bearing the Shahada in Arabic calligraphy and a Quranic verse from Surah An-Nisa (4:103). An outer graduated ring displays Arabic numerals from 1 to 35, each increment representing ten degrees of the circle, with an amethyst crystal set at the top marking zero and 36, oriented toward Mecca. The year 2012 appears within the Arabic lettering on the inner band.
