Aanvullende informatie

The Bank of Central African States issues commemorative silver outside its normal monetary mandate largely for the international collector market — these pieces circulate in name only across the six CEMAC member states (Cameroon, CAR, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon) and are never intended for commercial use. The selective gilding technique, applied post-strike, became increasingly common in collector coinage after the late 1990s as mints competed for premium shelf space in the holiday gift segment.
