| Reverse description | The reverse features a rhodinated high-relief effigy of Winged Victory — inspired by the Mexican Libertad design — depicted full-length and facing slightly left, her right arm raised holding a laurel wreath and her left arm extended, with large spread wings rising behind her. The figure is rendered in contrasting blackened relief against the polished gold field, creating a striking two-tone effect. The legend ANNIVERSARY EDITION curves along the upper rim, while the year 2024 appears to the left of the figure. The inscription 1/2 G · .99999 FINEST GOLD · RHODINATED is engraved along the lower right field. |

The Bank of Central African States — the BEAC — serves six member nations whose shared CFA franc has been pegged to the euro since 1999, before that to the French franc at a fixed rate unchanged from 1948. Bullion issues like this one fall well outside the BEAC's normal mandate, which makes their appearance in the modern commemorative market an odd institutional footnote. The five-nines gold purity is a marketing-tier specification, rarer in practice than the spot premium it commands suggests.
