| Obverse description | Two confronted faces in high relief are depicted in profile facing one another, their noses nearly touching at the center of the design field, separated by an elaborate foliate arabesque motif rendered in intricate low relief. The female figure at left is adorned with jewelry and an ornate headdress, while the male figure at right displays stylized hair with fine parallel engraving. The upper legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the rim, and the denomination and date 1000 FRANCS CFA 2025 are inscribed along the lower border, all in raised Latin lettering. The coin is struck in antique finish, lending the composition a sculptural, classical quality. |
