| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Guinea at center, depicting a shield charged with a dove above an olive branch, with a scroll beneath bearing the national motto in three parts: TRAVAIL, JUSTICE, and SOLIDARITE. The shield is rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The legend RÉPUBLIQUE DE GUINÉE arcs along the upper periphery in bold Latin letters, while the denomination 1000 FRANCS GUINÉENS is inscribed along the lower arc. The date 2020 is divided and positioned to either side of the shield, flanked by five-pointed stars. |
