Obverse description	The central field displays the full coat of arms of the Gabonese Republic, featuring a quartered shield supported by two black panthers rampant, with a ship in the lower quarter and three bezants in the upper quarter, surmounted by a green oak tree and flanked by sprigs of okoumé leaves. A ribbon scroll at the base bears the national motto UNION TRAVAIL JUSTICE.
