Описание аверса	The obverse displays the national coat of arms of the Gabonese Republic centered in the field, featuring a shield divided into three sections: the upper portion bearing three black roundels on a golden field, the central section depicting a sailing ship on waves, and the lower section in green; the shield is supported by two confronted black panthers rampant, with foliate branches above and a motto ribbon below reading UNION TRAVAIL JUSTICE. The curved legend RÉPUBLIQUE GABONAISE arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed along the lower border in bold relief. The entire design is rendered in antique finish.
