| Obverse description | The central field bears the Cameroonian coat of arms — a shield displaying a balance of justice flanked by two crossed fasces-axes — enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The national motto appears in both French and English in three segments flanking the shield: PAIX / PEACE to the left, TRAVAIL / WORK above, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND to the right. The date 2026 is split to either side of the shield, with the denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA inscribed along the lower arc of the beaded border. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN curves along the upper outer border, with REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON / REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN inscribed on a ribbon cartouche at the base of the arms. The outer field is richly decorated with a dense array of seasonal and festive motifs — including Christmas trees, Santa Claus, snowmen, reindeer, gift packages, ornaments, gingerbread figures, angels, snowflakes, and Halloween symbols — rendered in high relief against a lined background. |
