| 正面描述 | The obverse features the national coat of arms of Burkina Faso at center, depicting a shield charged with a star and flanked by two horses rampant, with an open book at the base and a ribbon bearing the national motto 'Unité Progrès Justice.' Above the arms, a banner reads 'BURKINA FASO.' The circular legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU BURKINA FASO' arcs across the upper field, while the denomination '1000 FRANCS CFA' appears in the lower field. At the bottom, a small inset color image of the Earth's moon is applied as a decorative element. The coin's concave field is finished in a handmade premium antique style, with a textured rocky border evocative of a meteorite surface surrounding the central devices. The specification '1 oz Ag 999' is inscribed along the right inner border. |

NWA 7325 was recovered in 2012 from the Sahara and generated immediate controversy — its unusually low iron-to-magnesium ratio and oxygen isotope signature led a team including Anthony Irving to propose a Mercurian origin, which would make it the first recognized sample of material from the innermost planet. The claim remains contested; some researchers favor a distinct achondrite parent body that has not yet been identified.
NWA 8409 is a paired stone from the same fall. The embedded meteorite fragment gives this coin its only real claim on a collector's attention.
