| Reverse description | Central field features an inset disc of genuine Murano glass in translucent pink swirling tones, upon which the silhouette profile of a Renaissance noblewoman is rendered in right-facing bust, her elaborately dressed hair and pearl necklace clearly delineated. The silver border surrounding the glass insert is decorated with an intricate Gothic trefoil and heart-shaped pierced ornamental pattern reminiscent of Venetian architectural tracery. The inscription 'VETRO DI MURANO' is engraved in the lower portion of the decorative silver border in incuse lettering. The overall composition evokes the rich artistic heritage of Venetian glassmaking. |
