Burkina Faso has issued commemorative silver under the CFA franc framework since the early 2000s, acting as a nominal issuer while production and distribution are handled entirely by European private mints — in this case almost certainly the Berne-based PAMP or a comparable Swiss or Austrian contractor. The country itself has no minting infrastructure. These biblical series coins were sold exclusively through international coin dealers and never circulated in West Africa.
