Descrizione del rovescio	A large, boldly modeled portrait bust of Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni is depicted facing slightly left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed beard and facial features after a known Renaissance portrait. The birth year 1475 appears to the left of the portrait in the field, and the death year 1564 appears to the right. The issue year 2005 is inscribed centrally below the bust, with the name MICHELANGELO arching along the lower periphery. The polished proof fields accentuate the sculptural quality of the effigy.
