| Reverse description | Central motif depicts the winged goddess Nike (Libertad), rendered in high relief with selective silver finish against a gold-plated field, standing atop a cylindrical architectural pedestal. The figure's arms are outstretched, one hand holding a laurel chain, with flowing drapery and elaborately detailed wings spread wide, closely modeled after the iconic Angel of Independence monument in Mexico City as featured on the Mexican Libertad coinage. The legend 35TH ANNIVERSARY ISSUE OF THE MEXICAN LIBERTAD arcs across the upper field.
