Aanvullende informatie

The BCEAO issues commemorative coins under the collective authority of eight West African nations sharing the CFA franc — Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Togo. These pieces are struck primarily for the international collector market and carry no practical circulation function within the monetary union. The "Guardian Angel" series is one of several devotional themes the BCEAO has licensed in recent years, following demonstrated European retail demand for faith-based silver commemoratives.

Gold-plated .999 silver at one troy ounce is the format favored by wholesale distributors targeting the gift and souvenir trade alongside numismatic buyers.
