Reverse description The reverse depicts two sooty mangabeys (Cercocebus atys) rendered in high relief against a mirror-like field, with one animal shown in a quadrupedal stance facing left and the second positioned to the right in a seated posture, both set before a stylised wooden cage or fence structure evoking captivity or habitat threat. Sparse foliage appears at the base of the composition.
