| 背面描述 | A finely detailed high-relief depiction of a Central African Red Colobus (Piliocolobus foai) clinging to a tree trunk, rendered in naturalistic style with careful attention to the animal's distinctive fur texture and facial features. The primate is shown facing forward, grasping the trunk with both hands, occupying the right portion of the field. The genus and species name PILIOCOLOBUS is inscribed vertically along the left side of the field, with the date 2013 below it, while FOAI appears horizontally in the upper field to the right of the trunk. |

The Central African Red Colobus (*Piliocolobus foai*) is endemic to a narrow range in Central Africa and has been classified as endangered, making it an occasional subject for the small commemorative gold programs that emerged from Francophone Africa in the early 2010s. These fractional gold issues — typically half-gram pieces struck for the collector market — were produced under licensing arrangements, with the actual minting handled by European facilities entirely outside the issuing country.
The Central African Republic itself has never operated a national mint.
