| 背面描述 | A vibrant, prismatically colored sunbird (family Nectariniidae) dominates the central field, rendered in vivid blue, yellow, and orange tones using a multi-layered color application technique that creates a three-dimensional, crystalline visual effect. A secondary engraved silhouette of the same species appears in the left field, surrounded by delicately engraved tropical foliage and blossoms extending around the periphery. The family name NECTARINIIDAE arcs along the left margin, while FORET TROPICALE curves along the lower legend, and the date 2010 appears to the right. A beaded inner border frames the design. |

The Banque Centrale des États de l'Afrique de l'Ouest issues collector coinage on behalf of its eight member states — Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Togo — under a monetary union that has used the CFA franc since 1945, pegged first to the French franc and later to the euro. These wildlife-themed silver issues were produced largely for the European collector market, with minimal circulation relevance in the issuing states themselves.
