Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse is fully coloured in a vivid painterly style and depicts the folkloric figure of Bloody Mary as a pale young girl with dark, shadowed eyes holding a lit white candle, her face emerging from darkness in an atmosphere of supernatural dread. The figure is framed within an ornate oval mirror adorned with elaborate acanthus scroll and floral relief decoration rendered in antique silver finish. Streaks of what appears to be blood or condensation run vertically across the mirror's interior surface. The legend BLOODY MARY is inscribed in bold red lettering to the lower right of the central figure within the mirror frame. A small mintmaster or artist monogram mark appears at the top of the oval frame.

Aanvullende informatie

Cameroon has issued commemorative silver coinage sporadically since the early 2000s, typically through licensing arrangements with European minting houses — most often the Bavarian State Mint or B.H. Mayer's — rather than through any domestic striking facility. The "Bloody Mary" designation places this squarely in a recurring collector series themed around cocktails, a format that has proliferated across small Pacific and African issuing authorities over the past decade as a reliable retail driver with no particular national significance to the issuing country.

The CFA franc itself is administered by the Bank of Central African States, meaning Cameroon's monetary authority over these collector issues is nominal at best.
