Burkina Faso has issued commemorative coinage through the Monnaie de Paris under licensing arrangements common to several CFA franc zone states, which hold nominal issuing authority while the actual production and distribution are handled entirely by European minting and marketing firms. These pieces are collector items from inception — they never enter circulation in Burkina Faso and are sold directly into the numismatic market, primarily in Europe.
Ammonoidea became extinct at the K-Pg boundary roughly 66 million years ago, survivors of three prior mass extinctions before the fifth finished them.
