| Obverse description | Fantasy note closely imitating the genuine Banque Nationale de Belgique 1000-franc issue, printed in brown and grey tones. Left side carries a bust portrait of a capped male figure in intaglio style, with guilloche underprint at centre and a terrestrial globe vignette at lower right. Satirical text replaces the authentic issuer name with 'CRAMPE NATIONALE DE BELGIQUE', and mock penalty clause and facsimile signatures of Dries Dequae and P.H. Spaak are printed across the face. |
