备注	The sixth series ran far longer than originally planned — the SNB had intended a shorter production window, but delays developing the seventh series pushed the 1000-franc note's retirement well into the 1990s. Eighteen distinct signature combinations across sixteen years is unusual even by Swiss standards, reflecting the relatively high turnover among Directorate members during this period rather than any change to the plate or printing arrangement. Orell Füssli printed all denominations of the sixth series in Zurich throughout the run. The 1000-franc note was the highest denomination in regular circulation and changed hands almost exclusively through banking channels — retail use was negligible, which means surviving examples with genuine wear are rarer than those with counting-machine damage from bank handling.
