正面描述	A finely engraved intaglio portrait of an African man in three-quarter profile occupies a guilloché-bordered vignette at left, with a river scene at lower centre showing dugout canoes and figures loading cargo at a riverside dock, all set against an elaborate guilloché underprint. Denomination numerals '1000' appear at each corner, and two six-pointed stars are positioned at the upper lateral borders. Two manuscript facsimile signatures appear below the central denomination panel, attributed to the Premier Directeur and the Gouverneur respectively.
