Descrizione del dritto	At right, a three-quarter profile portrait of a young Comorian woman in traditional printed dress is set against a central vignette of a tropical coastal scene with palm trees and a mountain-backed bay. Ornate guilloche borders with floral and arabesque motifs frame both lateral margins, and a watermark void occupies the upper left. Two signatures appear below the central vignette, with the denomination MILLE FRANCS rendered in red intaglio at lower centre.

Descrizione del rovescio	The central vignette presents a veiled Comorian woman in traditional dress holding ylang-ylang blossoms, flanked at left by two women carrying woven baskets on their heads before a mountainous landscape. Ylang-ylang flowers and foliage fill the right portion of the design around the watermark void, while an Arabic script inscription band runs across the top and the anti-counterfeiting legal warning appears in a panel at lower right.
