At right, a large intaglio portrait of a woman wearing a colourful head wrap and pearl necklace occupies nearly the full height of the note. The engraver's credit W. FEL. FEC. and R. ARMANELLI SC. appear at the lower left and lower right respectively, with the anti-counterfeiting legal warning enclosed in a blue cartouche at the bottom centre.
