The legend Սայաթ-Նովա • Sayat-Nova is inscribed in Armenian and Latin scripts along the upper left field. The birth and death years 1722 • 1795 are inscribed in two lines in the lower left field. The remaining field is plain, allowing the portrait to dominate the design. |
