| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a full-length figure of Saint Gregory the Illuminator vested in richly ornamented episcopal robes and mitre, holding a ceremonial staff, rendered in fine detail against a polished field. To the right, the revered relic — the right hand of Saint Gregory — is shown prominently in a jeweled reliquary gauntlet, adorned with colored gemstones including red and blue inlays, with intricate filigree decoration along the cuff.
