| Reverse description | The central field features a detailed polychrome representation of the historic reliquary cross enshrining the relics of Saint George, housed at Holy Etchmiadzin Cathedral. The ornate cross is rendered with coloured enamel gemstone inlays in red, green, blue, and purple, faithfully reproducing the jewelled decoration of the original sacred artifact. A small stylised cross motif appears in the upper left corner of the field. The bilingual legend 'ՍՈՒՐԲ ԷԹՉՄԻԱԾԻՆ / HOLY ETCHMIADZIN' is inscribed along the upper margin, while 'ՍՈՒՐԲ ԳԵՎՈՐԳԻ ՄԱՍՈՒՆՔՈՎ ԽԱՉ / CROSS WITH THE RELICS OF SAINT GEORGE' appears in the lower field, above the date '2016' and the mint mark 'ՌՆԿԵ'. |
