| Obverse description | The obverse of this rectangular gold-plated silver issue features the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia prominently in the upper central field, depicting the traditional quartered shield supported by an eagle and a lion, with the sword, chain, and ear of wheat below. The denomination '1000' appears in large numerals in the lower central field, accompanied by the bilingual inscription 'դրամ dram' beneath.
