| Obverse description | The Armenian National Coat of Arms occupies the upper central field, rendered in high relief and depicting the traditional quartered shield supported by an eagle and a lion, with a sword, a branch, a chain, and sheaves of wheat at the base. The denomination '1000' appears prominently in the lower central field, followed by the bilingual inscription 'դրամ dram' immediately below.
