| Reverse description | The central field features a richly detailed Gothic-arched reliquary rendered in high relief, its interior adorned with intricate floral scrollwork, housing the Holy Lance (Geghard) depicted in color-applied dark blue-grey enamel with a golden Armenian cross motif on the lance head. To the upper left, a stylized sword cross is shown in relief. The bilingual legend 'ՍՈՒՐԲ ԷՋՄԻԱԾԻՆ / HOLY ETCHMIADZIN' arches across the upper field in Armenian and Latin script. The Armenian inscription 'ՍՈՒՐԲ ԳԵՂԱՐԴ' runs vertically along the left border and 'HOLY LANCE' along the right border. The mint year '2013' and mint mark 'ԲՆԿԲ' appear in the lower exergue. |
