Reverse description Central device depicts a detailed architectural rendering of the Church of the Redeemer (Surb Prkich) at the medieval Armenian city of Ani, shown in three-quarter perspective with its characteristic conical dome, arched windows, and decorative blind arcading. The Armenian legend ՔՐԻՍՏՈՆԵԱՅ ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆ (Christian Armenia) arcs along the upper periphery, while the Latin legend CHRISTIAN ARMENIA curves along the lower border. To the left of the church, the Armenian inscription ԱՆԻ and the date range 301-2001 appear in the field; to the right, the numeral 1700 and the Latin abbreviation ANI denote the 1,700th anniversary of the Christianisation of Armenia. The reverse field is framed by a fine beaded inner border.
