Obverse description At left, a vignette of an ancient coin bearing the portrait of Philip II of Macedon, and at right, a further ancient coin vignette with a bird and serpent motif. The denomination and the minister's signature appear at centre, set within guilloche underprint work, with the full text of the obligation legend arranged across the face.
