The composition is framed by oak-leaf garlands and decorative columns in a multicolour intaglio and letterpress print. The bank title appears in a panel at top centre, with the denomination in bold blue type at right and the legend ΕΚΔΟΣΙΣ ΠΡΩΤΗ repeated in the lower corners; six cancellation punch holes are present. |
