| Obverse description | The obverse is set against a fine guilloche underprint in olive-green and lilac, with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe circular seal vignette at left centre enclosing the Zimbabwe Bird. The denomination '1000' appears in large brown numerals at each corner, and the bearer cheque text block occupies the centre field, stating the payment obligation, expiry date of 31st July 2007, and issue date of 1st August 2006. The Governor's facsimile signature appears at lower left beneath the issuer seal. |
