| Obverse description | This face bears the reverse die of KM# 5, presenting a right-facing draped bust of Simón Bolívar in military uniform with an elaborately decorated collar featuring laurel motifs. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the hair and costume. The Arabic legend · سيمون بوليڤار · curves along the upper field above the portrait, while the Latin inscription BOLIVAR appears in large raised letters along the lower arc. Two small dots flank the portrait in the mid-field. A beaded border frames the entire design. |
