The Studentski centar Sveučilišta u Zagrebu — the student center of Zagreb University — issued its own internal currency for use within campus facilities: canteens, dormitories, cultural venues. These notes circulated as a closed-loop voucher system, entirely outside the Yugoslav banking framework, which makes their legal and monetary status genuinely ambiguous. They are not state currency, not scrip in the industrial sense, and not commemorative — they were functional tender within a specific institutional geography.
At 1000 Dinara, this is a high face value within the series, suggesting use for larger transactions or bulk meal payments rather than small daily purchases. Few found their way out of the system intact.
