Description de l’avers	A central intaglio vignette of the National Bank of Vietnam building occupies the midfield, rendered in blue-grey tones over a multicolour guilloche underprint that extends across the full face. Denomination numerals '1000' appear at the lower left and upper right corners, with the bank title inscribed along the top and the value text 'MỘT NGÀN ĐỒNG' positioned at the lower right. Two signature lines for the Tổng Kiểm-Soát and Thống-Đốc are printed beneath the building vignette.
